The Headies Awards 2013 Full List Of Winners
The Headies Awards 2013 was held on boxing day 2013 at the Grand Ball room of Oriental Hotel, Lagos and was hosted by Mavin Records acts Tiwa Savage and Dr SID.
Big winners of the night include Olamide, Phyno, Waje, Clarence Peters and Davido who bagged multiple awards. The night also features performances from Iyanya, Sean Tizzle, Seyi Shay, Praiz and much more.
In addition, Fuji Artist was inducted into the Headies Hall Of Fame.

THE HEADIES 2013: IT’S ABOUT TO BEGIN
The Headies; Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music award is here. This is the eighth year of the award ceremony that has relentlessly raised bars and pushed boundaries. This year’s awards will continue in the fine tradition of rewarding artistes, music producers, music video directors who have excelled within the year in review and honouring legends who have contributed to the music industry and left a strong legacy for future generations.
Created in 2006, the Headies was established to be the reward for artistic ingenuity in a country where music awards were poorly conceptualized and executed. The maiden edition revolutionized not only music awards in the country but also entertainment events in Nigeria. The following editions in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 have rewritten the script on how award ceremonies should be done.

Veteran and award winning actor Olu Jacobs and wife Joke Silva have been married for 27 years now.
While most men would insist their wives change their last names immediately, Mr Jacobs, in this new interview with TheNetng explained why he let his wife maintain her maiden name.
She is her own individual. When I met her, she was an actress known as Joke Silva so why should marrying me now deny her and her audience her name. She is Miss Joke Silva who is Mrs. Joke Jacobs. It is as simple as that. People now begin to say what they like. They have even written that we are separated and all sort of stuffs. When she is working, she is Joke Silva but she is Mrs. Joke Jacobs at home.

Actress Uche Iwuji’s husband dumps her, runs away
Wande Coal and Don Jazzy are ‘cool’
Abuja – Wande Coal denies having issues with his former boss Don Jazzy and claims their relationship is “cool” and “crispy.”
In an interview with Factory 78, the 28-year-old music star said: “I’m mean there’s not problem, like I said, Don jazzy’s my brother, we’re cool. Everything is all crispy, man.”
He added he is planning on working with Don Jazzy in the future.
He added: “Hopefully, if I see Don Jazzy, I’ll go and hug him. We’re still going to work together.”
Wande Coal left Mavin Records a few months ago to kick start his own label — Black Diamond Entertainment.
His departure was followed by his former label boss accusing him of intellectual property theft.

Oops! It appears that Tiwa Savage’s father was not happy with the way the traditional wedding of Tiwa and T-billz went today!
NET reports that their correspondent caught the middle aged man complaining to a member of his family saying ‘The groom’s family have over taken everything and it is not supposed to be so‘.
His anger was further expressed as he went round asking some of the guests from the grooms side to move from their tables and to look for seats elsewhere, NET further reports.
Dating Empress Njamah affected my life negatively —Timaya
Contorversial singer, Timaya has disclosed that his relationship with controversial actress, Empress Njamah had a negative effect on his life, Nigeriafilms reports.
You will recall that in 2009, the lovers broke up in a very bitter way.
In a recnt interview with Punch, Timaya said “you should not date somebody who already has a negative record. In my own case, it affected me at that time. I feel that a relationship should be between two people and not exposed to the rest of the world. Only a smart man is able to keep his relationship private.”
